Wes Johnson

Wes has been involved in Triangle real estate and development since 1997. During those 23+ years, he has worked with companies including Red Hat, FedEx, Blue Cross Blue Shield, ABB, Paradigm Genetics and Chubb Insurance. This involved both tenant and landlord representation and projects including Venture Center on NC State’s Centennial Campus, WestChase Office Park in Raleigh, Meadowmont Village in Chapel Hill and Globe Center and Research Tri Center in the RTP.

Prior to joining Capital Associates, Wes owned a successful real estate, building and development company as well as his own business within the outdoor industry where he partnered with retailers such as Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s, L.L.Bean, Backcountry and Gander Mountain.

Wes completed a highly competitive program in the International Business School at University of Leeds, England. He is also a graduate of NC State University and is still actively involved with the university through mentoring and the NC State Entrepreneurship Clinic. Wes is heavily involved in the area start up community and has been an active member of HQ Raleigh since 2014.

He holds both his NC Real Estate Brokers license and General Contractors license.
